Editorial policy
Lively Civic Bulletin aims to make local civic ideas clear, fair and useful without overstating what a suggestion can achieve. We explain our choices and correct the record when we get something wrong.
Accuracy and context
We take care with names, dates and descriptions, and we review claims before publication. Articles should make clear what is established, what is interpretation and what is a suggestion. Where local arrangements may vary, we say so rather than implying that one approach applies everywhere.
Independence
Editorial decisions belong to the publication. A contribution, collaboration or commercial relationship does not buy a favourable conclusion or control over independent editorial coverage. We do not invent sources, experiences or endorsements.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error or unclear passage, contact us with the article title and the detail in question. We review correction requests and amend material when warranted, making significant changes clear to readers where appropriate.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid placements and partner contributions are clearly identified so readers can distinguish them from independent editorial work. We also identify illustrations that are AI-generated; images are not evidence that a depicted event or place is real.
