Write for us

Lively Civic Bulletin welcomes thoughtful pitches about shared places, local information, neighbourhood projects and the small choices that shape participation. Send proposals through the Contact page.

What we welcome

We are interested in clear explainers, comparisons, short histories, myth-checks and occasion-specific pieces that give readers a useful way to think or act. A strong idea has a defined subject, an original angle and a practical boundary: it does not promise to fix an entire community with one tip.

What makes a good pitch

Tell us the working idea, why it suits this publication, the main point you would make and how you would support factual claims. Flag any local rules, permissions or other context the piece might depend on. Keep the proposal focused enough that its central idea is easy to understand.

Sending a proposal

Use the Contact page and choose the editorial option. Please include a short summary and any relevant writing samples or source notes you wish us to consider. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication; do not send confidential or sensitive personal information.
